There are two aspects that you should always check before submitting confidential information on the Internet.

The first is that any information you send is being sent to the correct bona fida business. This is assured by the Comodo Security Services certification that guarantees the place you are submitting the information to is where you intend. This prevents any useful interception of your data by a third party. Unless a site has this guarantee we advise that you do not submit any confidential information - even if the data is encrypted.

The second aspect is of course the encryption - this site uses SSL security, which your browser automatically detects and encrypts any information sent by you.
